More Gotcha Day pictures!

Now off to bed for me. Jeff and Rebekah are already asleep! Hopefully it stays that way! I just couldn't go to sleep without posting. Thank you for your prayers!

The kids all say "can't wait to see you and our new sister. Maggie says "we are going to be good sisters". Sean says "I can't wait to tell her everything we have been thru to get her". Jeremy says "I can't wait to meet her" The kids are doing well. Maggie is eating us out of house and home now. Sean is very excited and has all the days figured out.Jeremy is ready to go outside and run the track with the rc's and can't wait to tell you about building the track with jumps and hills. Maggie is really giving the boys a run for their money on the track. Maggie and I have been doing puzzles over and over and over...We have some new ones for today. Now...our turn...Rebekah is so beautiful! It was hard to see her and read your posts thru the tears. It has been a long emotional time and very overwhelming to finally see pictures of her in your arms. We can only imagine your joy and excitement in holding her for the first time. The love in your eyes for your new daughter is so bright.
Sorry for not writing sooner. We have been really making the most of the time with the kids...bedtime, what bedtime? Beautiful weather. Yesterday we went to Reedley beach and they were excited to find "real fools gold". Sean wanted to know how much we thought it was worth since is was "real" fools gold. So cute! Enjoy every minute of your special time together. Love Mom and Dad and kids

Hi Jeff and Trish and Rebekah!

We just saw your pictures and read your blog. Rebekah is just precious and beautiful! You all look happy and beautiful and tired and overwhelmed. What an adventure you are having along with getting your new daughter. I think I understand now why they want you to go there to pick up your child; you will be able to tell her first hand about her birth country and you will have a feel for the country and the people yourselves. What a good idea!

Your other babies are doing well. Grandma and Grandpa are taking good care of them. We had them up here for a morning and part of an afternoon and Maggie helped me divide and pot some little plants and then we all went exploring. They are a really fun bunch of little people. Wish I had some way to record all the things they said.

You are very much in our thoughts. Thank you for taking the trouble to create this blog so we can all share a little in your adventure. Kiss Rebekah's adorable pink cheeks for us and hug yourselves too.

Love, Aunt Cindy and Uncle Rich

Hey Jeff and Tricia,

Wow! After all this time and waiting and praying, you finally have your little China Dolly in your arms--and what a dolly she is!! She is definitely a cutie--I can see why she has won your hearts--but I think that happened some months ago!

Lisa and I are very, very happy for you--as we have been reading your blog, we have been re-living our own experience in China just over a year ago. What a cherished memory that you will enjoy for your entire life.

You have probably already used the prunes for the "Chinese orphan syndrome" and in just a few days, you will see her become more animated and even more bonded to you as her parents. You probably already know this as well, but even if she is sleeping well in China, expect some difficult nights for about a week and a half until her circadian cycle adjusts to American time after your return--our ENTIRE China group had adjustments to make. God bless you as you enjoy your new daughter and her native land for these few short days--have some fried rice at Lucy's!

Good Morning, We have probably looked at the pictures no less than 100 times. Dad and Luci have been online and are excited for you also. I am sure your day was jam packed yesterday just adjusting to Rebekah and being parents of a baby again. Can't wait to hear about your first day. Loads of Love, Mom

Jeff and Trisha,
Congratulations, she sure is a cutie, I just noticed she has Jeff's cheeks. I assume you are now asleep getting ready for tomorrow, and we just wanted to let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers. What a special time in life this is!

Hope you are having a great time bonding and everything is going smoothly. A quick update:Yesterday we went and released to red-tailed hawks. The kids got to pet them before they were released. They also got to get really close to a whole bunch of cows and hear them stampede.Sean's tooth was very loose so today we stopped by grandpa's office so he could take it out. All is well. I took pictures. Maggie just ate one and a half cheese burgers plus a shamrock shake. Yesterday she had 4 bowls of cereal plus all the other things she ate.Good to see her eating. Jeremy is eating really good too. Tomorrow we switch with your folks. This time has flown. The kids have been really great and lots of fun.
Love Mom
